Law Security & Investigations, Inc. is currently seeking exceptional, high-caliber Security Professionals to join our San Diego Flex Roster.

Note: This is not for an immediate, fixed-post vacancy. We are proactively onboarding a "Ready-Response" team to cover call-offs, emergency details, and rapid-growth deployments.

The Role

Our Flex officers provide a visual deterrent to theft and violence while ensuring the safety of staff and patrons. This is predominantly a static post focusing on access control and site security at various locations throughout San Diego.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • BSIS Guard Card (Current)

  • BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (Current)

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • CPR/AED Certification (Required)

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to deploy on short notice.

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ year of full-time uniformed security experience.

  • Military, Law Enforcement, or National Guard background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a commanding professional presence as a visual deterrent.

  • Conduct thorough site patrols and monitor access points.

  • Respond immediately to alarms, fire, or emergency calls.

  • Write detailed, professional incident reports with photo documentation.

  • Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour

  • Job Type: Part-time / On-Call (Transitioning to Full-time as available)

  • Full-Time Benefits: (Available after 90 days of FT status) including 401(k), Health, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Scheduling.
